Live outside the CT area?  Want a more affordable appraisal option?  Prefer not to have us appraise your collection in person?

A Long Distance Appraisal is ideal for smaller to midsize collections. (Large collections may be eligible - with a 3% value charge added)

The entire appraisal will cost either $100 or $150  (Please see STEPS on right).  Most businesses charge this or more for each hour.

STEPS

PRE-APPRAISAL

-SEND BEFORE PAYING, an email through the contact form, or give us a telephone call so that we can go over the general size/scope of your collection.  If it sounds like your collection is very small, you may not need the full appraisal.

-PAY the initial appraisal charge of $50.

-CALL us when you are ready for the appraisal.

APPRAISAL

-Since we will already have a general idea of what your collection contains (from the call/email earlier), we will ask you to see if your collection, based on its contents, contains certain particular dates or pieces. 

-If you have any of these special coins, we will ask for a scan/photo image of each to be emailed to us.  (these images don't have to be perfect for us to assign a value)

POST-APPRAISAL

-Pay the final $50 or $100 appraisal fee (we will tell you which amount based on your final collection's size/value).

-You will be emailed a typed, detailed appraisal of your collection and its contents.  This appraisal will be exactly the same as the "in person" typed appraisal.  We will then advise you on how to best store your collection, and how to go about selling it if you desire to do so (or we can sell it for you).
